After a serious chiller breakdown Rapid Chillers were asked to step in very reactively to rescue production a large plastics manufacturer in the North of England.
The ICS chillers installed on site had failed evaporators due to poor water quality and this had closed several high revenue lines on the factory.
The RCAC 200 Chiller was deployed to site and ran via a 300kW plate heat exchanger to mechanically separate the clean and dirty systems. The chiller remained in place for several months while a repair was undertaken by the installer. the production Director was thrilled with the fast turn around and design.
